Our brand new Foodhall opened to rave reviews just before Christmas 2006 and hasn’t looked back since.
Our aim is to celebrate the best quality regional food and drink that we can find. Great tasting, fresh food from local producers. Produce from people who really care about food and have their own story to tell and want to share it with you
We are farmers ourselves and The Foodhall sits bang in the middle of our mixed home farm where we breed prize winning pedigree beef cattle and grow a range of cereals, vegetables and potatoes. We are also committed to doing our best to enhance the environment – over the last few years we have planted or sown nearly 40,000 trees, 5 kilometres of new mixed species hedgerows, areas of wild bird cover and grassy strips of “beetle banks” at the edges of our arable fields.
Come and join us for one of our many seasonal food tasting events where you can meet the producers and take home a new recipe idea from our demonstration kitchen where guest chefs such as our talented chefs from Smiths Hotel might inspire you to try something new! Leading Scottish Chef Nick Nairn loved it when he visited recently.
If you love your food, care about where it comes from and value a change from the supermarket run, we would love to see you here. If you can’t visit, we will happily take telephone orders and make it easy for you to choose from over 1000 lines of great tasting and unusual food and drink.
